Dynamic DanceHow Dynamic Dance & Fitness Raised Over $10,300 with Halenda’s Fundraising

Looking for an easy fundraising idea for your dance studio, sports team, school or community group?

Dynamic Dance & Fitness turned a simple fundraiser into an incredible result, raising more than $10,300 with Halenda’s Fundraising to help support their dancers and families.

The funds raised help offset expenses associated with competitive dance, including competition entry fees, costumes and other costs families may incur throughout the season.

Their success is a great example of how the right team fundraising idea can make a meaningful difference for families while keeping fundraising simple.

The Challenge: Making Competitive Dance More Affordable

Competitive dance is an incredible experience for young dancers, but a busy competition season can also bring additional expenses for families.

Between competition entry fees, costumes and other team expenses, the costs can add up.

Dynamic Dance & Fitness wanted a fundraising option that could help ease some of those costs for their dance families while offering supporters a product they would actually enjoy.

That’s where Halenda’s Fundraising came in.

The Result: More Than $10,300 Raised

Through their Halenda’s fundraiser, Dynamic Dance & Fitness raised over $10,300 for their dance community.

Instead of simply asking friends and family for donations, dancers could sell Halenda’s Pepperoni Stix while raising money toward their fundraising goals.

Each stick contains 13g of protein, making them a convenient snack that supporters can enjoy while helping a local group reach its goals.

The result?

Over $10,300 raised to support Dynamic Dance & Fitness dancers and their families.

About Dynamic Dance & Fitness

Dynamic Dance & Fitness was founded in 2021 by Amy Anderson with a vision to create a safe, welcoming space where dancers of all ages could share their passion for dance and fitness.

Located in the growing community of Newcastle, Ontario, the studio offers a wide range of dance and fitness classes for everyone from toddlers to adults, with different levels and styles designed to help dancers build their skills, confidence and love of dance. Amy’s goal is simple: to create lively classes that produce both skills and smiles every week.

Community is also an important part of the studio. Dynamic Dance & Fitness has participated in local events including the Newcastle Harvest Festival and Newcastle Santa Claus Parade, and its dancers have performed for seniors at Seasons Retirement Home in Bowmanville.

Their dancers have also had the opportunity to take the stage at larger events, including a Toronto Argonauts halftime show and a Harlem Globetrotters event.

That same sense of community is what made fundraising an important part of supporting Dynamic’s competitive dancers and their families.
